How do Unlisted calls and texts look on my phone bill?
They don't. Calls and texts will not show on your phone bill when you use Unlisted. The exception is if you use call forwarding.
Default: Unlisted Only Uses Your Data Connection
Both calls and texts only use your internet connection, whether that is Wi-Fi or cellular data. You will see some amount of data usage, but generally a phone bill will not show what app is using data.
Calls are not associated with your real number and will not show on your phone bill.
The same goes for texts: they are not associated with your real number and will not show on your phone bill.
When will anything show on my bill?
You can enable a setting that forwards incoming calls to another number. You might do this if you have bad internet service, or if you want to send calls to, for example, your office number.
In this case, you will receive a call from us at that forwarding number whenever a call comes in to your Unlisted number. The caller ID will be your Unlisted number. (We can also configure the call to come from the actual caller's number — contact us if you'd like this option). In this case, your phone bill will show a call received from this number (your Unlisted number).
