How to record a custom voicemail greeting

All Unlisted numbers can receive voicemails. There is no extra configuration necessary.

Record a new greeting

By default, callers will hear a general greeting ("The person you are trying to reach is unavailable..."). However, if you'd like to set a custom greeting, you can do so. Here's how:

1. Open the number's options menu. To get there, tap the button on the top right corner of many screens (for example, from the Messages tab)
2. Scroll down a bit and you'll see a setting for Voicemail Greeting. Tap on that button.
3. Tap on the record button to record a greeting.

You can also choose to switch between the default greeting and a recorded greeting at any time.
